More exciting news! It has been more than a year in the making since we first started working with Hamleys on this project and finally the Hamleys 250th Anniversary range has been launched at their Regent Street shop and it includes a beautiful range of products bearing a bespoke image exclusively hand-drawn

 by Hartwig featuring their iconic building at Regent Street with a very detailed bird's-eye view of London in the background... 

Hamleys was opened in 1760 and during 2010 they are celebrating their 250th Anniversary and the world's most famous toy shop. When we first made contact with Hamleys around September 2008 they were in the process of defining the anniversary ranges and they were looking for a great way to show their iconic building on Regent Street. Hartwig's hand-drawn work seemed to be the perfect way to feature the building in a colourful and quirky yet very accurate and fun way...

Hartwig drew the image at the end of 2008 and once the project was signed off by the buyers & management it took almost a year to define and develop the product range, get it manufactured and delivered in time for the anniversary celebrations launch this year!

The range includes great products such as: Fridge Magnet, Notebook, Large Bookmark, Jigsaw Puzzle in a Tube, Set of 6 Coasters in a Tin, Full Colour T-Towels, Bags, Fine Bone China Mugs and a beautiful Breakfast Cup & Saucer set. You really have to see the range together on the shelves to appreciate how beautiful it all looks together!
