The British Museum

The British Museum – the world’s first national public museum, founded in 1753 – is depicted here showing its magnificent glass and steel domed roof covering the Great Court. As part of a bespoke commission in spring 2009 an entire range of own-brand items were officially launched at the British Museum, all based on Hartwig Braun’s original hand-drawn illustration.

Two variations of the same design were produced, one in full colour and another in graphic line on black highlighting the building. A series of cut-outs of the image; in portrait, landscape, circular and other frames were also created.

Images shown below include: full colour, highlighted graphic line on black, black & white graphic line, circular full colour on red, illustrated colour drawing of the Great Court.
